FAQ About Our Organization:

Who can join?  We don't keep a regular roster of members, there's really no need to "join" anything, although you might like to get our newsletter to help be kept up to date on local homeschool happenings.  We welcome everyone who homeschools or is looking into homeschooling to attend any of our functions.

What is the cost to participate?  There is no fee.

Are you a non-profit organization?  At this moment we are not a formally established organization, although we do have hopes to become established in the near future.  When we do it will be as a non-profit.

Is homeschooling legal in Idaho?  Yes

What do I have to do to legally homeschool in Idaho?  Idaho has some of the most lenient homeschooling laws in the country.  The only thing you need to do is teach your kids, that's it, no need to register, test, etc.  Here's a link with more information:

How do I start Homeschooling?  There are many different resources and styles of homeschooling.  We recommend you spend some time investigating the various theories and styles.  If you need help wading through it all, feel free to call us or e-mail and we'll do our best to find someone who can help.
